I don’t actually think that. I have followed her through her entire political career and I truly think that she believes everything she says and does 100%. She was posting insane QAnon shit way before she had a political career, and she has been shockingly consistent on a lot of issues. She has turned on Trump precisely because she isn’t just an opportunist whose views depend on which way political winds are blowing. It’s like Mitt Romney. The dude is completely terrible and I disagree with him on basically every possible issue but because he has a moral compass, even if it’s one I almost completely disagree with, he is at odds with the Trump admin. I believe Rep. Greene is the same. She has some kind of moral code she believes in (even if such moral code is completely stupid and terrible), and so she is necessarily at odds with the Trump admin, which is the embodiment of amorality and selfishness above all else.
Yes, I agree. I‘ve long said that Greene (and Boebert) are what you get when someone who actually believes this shit gets into power.
I don‘t follow this stuff closely enough to know how this article fits into her history, but the Epstein stuff is completely consistent. And, while I don‘t agree with 99% of her principles, it actually shows her to be more principled than most of Trump‘s followers, who were fully against paedophilia when Pizzagate was a thing, but who now seem to think that it‘s no big deal and that every man would fuck a pre-teen if given the opportunity to do so.
Exactly. This is a lady who quit the Catholic Church and was re-baptized as an evangelical just because she was so disgusted by the child sex abuse scandal. This is a hill she’s willing to die on — willing to kill on, even.
I grew up in a close enough to her district that my hometown might get gerrymandered into it at some point. This is the correct take, and I say that because of how many women I know from the area that are exactly the same. Not the sharpest tools in the shed, hell I’d say among the dullest, but they believe in protecting children above all else.
I don’t like Greene one bit and generally think she’s a bad person, but she does believe in something, which is more than I can say for Trump who only believes that he should have power

Boebert was literally pulled from a casting website. She doesn’t believe shit.
