My main question was “how deep does it go?” Are they a bit racist or very very racist? (Also: I caught on because my partner said, during a scene before the terror attack, “there are no black kids in the playground” and since then we had been keeping track)

The revealing scene with Abedajo was chilling!

    (Still prefer the first season)

I’m guessing most people are a bit racist with a few key people on power being very very racist. We don’t know the exact details of how this universe came together but for the average person they’re just accepting the world as it is and not trying to rock the boat.

An interesting case is Peacemaker’s brother Keith. When he gets out of his car and calls out Ads he looks fearful. He’s supposed to be a hero, but he looks scared.

We know his father Augie is a racist piece of shit and there is no reason to think he isn’t the same in this universe (especially with Vigilante being the same). We don’t know a lot about the Peacemaker that did exist in this world, he seems a little more self destructive, but that fits within the realm of Peacemaker.

But Keith? He might be a softie. He’ll likely be racist because he was raised racist, but if Peacemaker talks to him? His brother? He might be able to change his mind.

(Or he is irredeemable and Peacemaker has to kill him again.)
