    Shut it down.

    The Democrats need to make strong, no-compromise demands and they need to start calling for a general strike right the fuck now.

    National ban on gerrymandering.
    Demand Trump’s resignation or removal.
    National RCV.
    Abolish ICE completely.
    Remove and ban tariffs.
    Tax the billionaires and landlords.

    Until we get it all, government stays shut down and the entire US populace stays on strike.

    Start talking now, Democrats. Get loud, make demands, or watch the US die as willing accomplices of fascism.

    Just a distraction from Epstein. GOP will pass their spending bill and no Dem will even try to filibuster. Dems can’t be seen as shutting down the govt (shutdown so we can get MORE spending makes no sense). Republicans can (cutting spending).

          Oh I just saved a local copy. That sums it up well. Cracks me up that they think some new party will be better when half the time the republicans are in charge and things will have to get fixed. Nothing will improve unless you eliminate the bad parts. We are riddled with bugs and need to deal with bug fixing as we will not be able to do much feature improvement with the garbage code we keep on letting into the repo that has to be cleaned up.
