Huh? I’ve been a premium user for years. Haven’t seen an ad in a video in forever. Not sure what op is showing but looks like a little one time notification of a new feature. If I saw I’d have closed and never seen again.
I’ve had premium for years (I like yt music and tend to mostly watch on PS5 or using casting). Never seen anything like this. Do you have a screenshot or anything?
I’ve never had premium, mostly out of spite after the forcing ads on unmonetized creators and removing the dislike count, once I was able to afford it. But I’ve seen some other post on Lemmy with the “products you may like” appearing on a premium account.

I’ve seen people getting a “products you may like” in the suggestions, with premium. There is no way to remove that (other than uBlock origin)

So you never see youtubers with sponsors? Those are ads.
Oh sure I see those ads that are directly benefitting a content creator. I can skip or listen to those
