Turkish hackers publish the phone numbers of 11 Israeli ministers, following a cyberattack on the phone of the military affairs minister.

According to Hebrew media, following the hacking that targeted the phone of Israeli Military Affairs Minister Israel Katz, Turkish hackers on Friday published the phone numbers of 11 Israeli cabinet ministers, as well as the phone number of Israeli Parliament Speaker Amir Ohana.

The hackers have reported that among the phone numbers released is the cell phone number of former Israeli Minister of Military Affairs Yoav Gallant, as well as a phone number belonging to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to sources, the Israeli ministers whose phone numbers were leaked are Tourism Minister Yario Levin; Energy Minister Eli Cohen; Regional Cooperation Minister Dodi Amsalem; Education Minister Yoav Kish; Communications Minister Miri Rigio; Culture and Sports Minister Mickey Zohar; Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter; and Economy Minister Nir Barakat.

Similarly, during a cyberattack launched on Thursday by Turkish hackers, the team published the phone number of the Israeli military minister and even briefly called him.

According to Middle East Eye (MEE) , after a brief video call with Katz, the hacking team sent a message to the Israeli minister, stating, “Hey Katz, never forget this, your death is near, we are the defenders of Qassam, we will bury you and your cabinet in history.”

Hebrew media reports claim that Katz has had the same phone number for several years, and that his number had circulated among various groups in the past.

Following this media shock, the Israeli minister received “thousands” of hostile messages after his number was published.
