I know what an asshole he was, but reading all of his bullshit just makes me hate him even more. I’m against violence, but oh my god, the world hasn’t lost anything of value.

Many people, myself included, who are against violence are just against it being the first method used to resolve a situation.
I’m a pacifist, but if someone was an immediate threat to myself or a loved one, and there was no peaceful way to resolve things, I’d use whatever violence was necessary to remove the threat. And I’d sleep like a baby after it too.
I believe in it as well. I just don’t believe that it’s a proper solution. An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.

often overlooked because of the permanence of the end result. some look at that as a flaw. most look at it as the feature.
It is the final reaction, but should never be the start of the argument. I know it’s the American way, but look at where America is now.
