I use it to automate the self-help exercises you get recommended in CBT books like feeling good.
Basically I hand Claude the entire feeling good book + instructions on how to do the exercises.
It’s really good at following instructions in finding distortions in my thinking, searching through the book, citing passages etc.
I find it super helpful for that.
But no, it’s not a real therapist, still very helpful if you can’t afford one
