    I permabanned reddit with these additions to my hosts file:

    127.0.0.1 old.reddit.com

    127.0.0.1 www.reddit.com

    Fuck their astro-turfed corporate censorship.

      It’s better to use 0.0.0.0 which cannot be routed. 127 will connect to servers on your local machine, if they happen to exist.
