That sucks because it isn’t the average Americans doing anything it’s these fucking psycho billionaires and their cronies. This behavior is going to kill American jobs.

As much as it will probably hurt, it’s in everyone’s best interest to wean themselves off of the American tech sector. Microsoft in particular has its greedy fingers in so many western governments and really needs to be cut off.

Average America voted in a majority for the House and Senate, as well as a psycho billionaire as president, and a majority of the state legislatures and governors. Average America can have they day they fucking voted for.

They didn’t know what they were voting for, and the effects won’t be limited to their borders. It is in all of our interests to educate them.

You can’t teach someone who is unwilling to learn. Living in a rural area, I know way too many Trump supporters for my own comfort and I’ve never once heard anyone expressing regret over their support. Not one. They seem to continually repeat the excuse du jour presented by Leavitt, Fox or whatever conservative echo chamber they subscribe to. At this point, it’s 100% willful ignorance and I’ve run out of optimism.

How do you teach someone who takes pride in being ignorant?

… How do you teach people who BRAG about how long ago they last read a book (if ever!)

What can you teach a population of dunning Kruger dunces to show them they don’t know shit from shingles?

As my favorite Swifty once said “you cannot reason a man out of an opinion he didn’t reason himself into”.

not knowing what they voted for is entirely their own responsibility

all of the information was there. they chose not to look at it.

I’ll agree that the majority of trump voters was very mislead (much like brexit voters).

At the same time, it wasn’t exactly impossible to find out what they voted for, so it’s their own fucking fault at the end of the day. I only feel bad for the third of the country that voted against the clown (and everyone that for any reason was unable to vote). The rest? If you can learn your lesson from this, best of luck, but don’t expect any pity.

They didn’t know what they were voting for

Yes they most certainly did. Their plan was published a year before the election and was widely disseminated under the name Project 2025. Many conservatives liked the plan or knew that Democrats didn’t like it and just wanted to spite them. The ones claiming they were fooled simply weren’t listening to what was actually being said.

It is in all of our interests to educate them.

Have you seen how Americans treat educators? Anti-intellectualism is a driving force in this country’s politics. Best idea is to cut us off as much as you can and prepare to defend your countries as we lash out in our death throes.

Or, let the latest empire fall so the nations they’ve been stepping over get a chance.

Yep, I’d give it a go until CIA and NSA get torn down. They’ve caused more suffering than all the us residents combined are going through.

Okay but letting an empire fall means they go through their Hitler phase, only they have nukes. We might all die before they fall.

The average American is either complicit or actively supporting it.
