And not even for something significant like promoting violence or hate speech, just over the placement of an *. So I don’t really care if saying f*ck is ridiculous, nor do I care if saying fuck is considered unnecessary, nor any of the other litany of ways people try to control the free speech of others.

Nobody will care if you self-censor in a reasonable way, like simply not saying the word, or using euphemisms like goshdarn.
