The comments in a French interview were Macron's harshest so far amid his repeated warnings in recent weeks that Moscow isn't serious about ending its invasion.
That would be a stupid idea - it would create even more support (if that is possible) for the war in the russian population without achieving anything besides pretty fireworks. It would be much better to support ukraine in targetting military and industrial targets inside russian territories - a war is won with logistics, and if the logistics goes kaboom that would be a problem for the russians.
Also, letting the russian shadow fleet have “unfortunate accidents” would also have more (plausible deniable) effect on the war than lobbing some missiles at moscow.
The only reason there is any support left, is because it happens so far away. When the poor moscowits would have to look into the receiving end of a missile themselves, they would lose their lust for war pretty quickly I would say.
Turning their bases to burned ground is of course also a good idea

Based on my personal interaction with russians and my understand of the “success” of “moral bombing” doring nearly any war i would highly doubt this. If you ask me, if there is a nation which has a more inflated sense of national pride than the US than it is russia…
Putin: Oh, no! Not the interview with harsh words! Oh, that’s too harsh…
I just wish we would allow Ukraine to lob some missiles at moscow
