Nobody wants to be constantly pumping the clutch in slow traffic on a daily commute. I have an automatic, and it’s perfect for DD. We also have a small, 6-cyl with a standard, and that car is a ton of fun for evenings out and weekends. I wouldn’t want to make myself or the car suffer in a metro area traffic jam moving at a snail’s pace.
