Good Lorb, no. And the thought of it makes my skin itch. That probably says something about how meditation would be good for me …

Have you ever held an “exotic” animal? (“Exotic” being subject to where you are and what’s uncomment there)

Yes, I once made cookies using (almost) no ingredients that weren’t native to the Northeast U.S., grown in the yard. They were weird and delicious lol.

Have you ever driven over 1000 miles in one go?

Yes, I moved myself cross country alone with my car full, a car top carrier, and a bicycle strapped to the back.

Radio broke halfway through. 3/10, would not recommend.

What is the greatest number of DYIs you have stacked up? E.g., 1) grew the peppers, 2) made them into a fermented hot sauce, 3) used the hot sauce to make hot wings.

Omg lol, not very many levels at all unfortunately. Let’s seee… I guess it’d be:

          1. Grow tibicos with yaupon, mesquite pod, and maple syrup.
          2. Use as the base for a barbeque sauce.
          3. Use the barbeque sauce as a marinade and coating for grilling vegetables.

I’m supposed to ask a different question but I’d kinda rather know your answer to THIS question, bet you’ve got a good one 👀

It was the hot sauce one. But I also raised the chickens that became the wings and made the butter that goes in with the hot sauce to make the wing sauce. The milk for the butter came from a neighbor though, I have no interest in having a dairy cow.

Your sauce sounds zippy and delicious. And I would say fermenting kefir counts as a quite significant level.

I went to Honduras on a conservation thing, a week in the rainforest and a week diving on an island called Utila, amazing place.

Ever been to the balkans? An area I’ve wanted to visit for a long time but never found myself going to.

Yeah I went to St. Thomas for a wedding a few years ago. It was pretty crappy and I wouldn’t go back.

Have you ever been to a country with a primary language different to your own?

Oh no how come it was crappy?

And yep loads! Including Greece, Spain and France. I like spain the best out of them it just has a nice feel.

Have you ever made your own accessories?

We stayed at the “resort” where the wedding took place. We didn’t bother doing any research about it because we figured the couple would’ve done that and chosen a nice place. Holy crap were we wrong! This place was a glorified motel, the rooms were full of black mold, our toilet wasn’t really adhered to the floor, the beach stank like a sewer, the “gym” was just a dust-filled guest room with an elliptical, an exercise bike, and a broken treadmill…I could go on but suffice to say it was a really awful experience. And we’d paid like $600/night!

I’d love to see Spain someday! Everything I hear about it sounds lovely.

I’ve made tons of accessories! I used to make all kinds of beaded jewelry - earrings, necklaces, bracelets. I’ve also made some wallet chains out of chainmail rings.

Have you ever made your own clothing?

Oh lord almighty that sounds bad, and not even cheap! It’s not nice when you spend so much on something shit

I’ve never made myself clothes, even a basic hem is hard for me!

Have you ever seen a volcano IRL?

Good news: caves don’t have anything to eat (mostly) so there are no flying bugs and thus few to no web-building spiders beyond the opening.

I’ve been on a safari once, it felt extremely weird. You’re seeing the animals In the wild, but from a fully organized trip so it somehow feels more artificial than a good zoo. The “up close” aspect wasn’t nearly as amazing as people say it is.

Would you ever go deep diving? (As in, swimming up in one go will be seriously deadly)

That’s interesting, I’d always wondered if safari was all it’s cracked up to be.

My initial thought about deep diving is no way, I’d be too anxious, but on second thought - yes, as long as I had time to familiarize myself well with the equipment and what to do if I panic!

Yes. I’ve tried twice so far and weather interfered both times. My self-imposed rule is it has to be somewhere unique to me. I could go down the road to the local airport where they have a jump club but I want something grander than corn fields.

Sold my little 125 a few years back. Never did get my big bike licence. I do want to get back in the saddle one day, both parents were motorcycle examiners (where they met!) and I have my late father’s old Triumph in my garage that hasn’t run in decades - I’d love to have it on the road again and be able to ride it (bloody heavy!).

Ever ridden one of those for hire electric scooters you see in some cities and towns now?

That’s amazing! What a way to meet a romantic partner haha.

I have ridden one of those rental scooters, three times, in fact. The first two times were great, the third time convinced me that I will never ride one of those things ever again lol.

Have you ever taken your motorbike cross country? Or done any sort of cross country road trip for that matter?

Rode a little 50 cc motorbike once through some woodsy areas. Was a super fun time. 10/10 recommend. I wish I was brave enough to ride a motorcycle as my primary mode of transportation but alas I am Not.

is it a cop out if my question is whether you have ridden a motorbike? If not, then that’s my question. If it is, then the question about it being a cop out is my question.

Fun! Although scary, because I feel like when you’re on the back you’re kind of at the whim on the driver haha.

I have indeed been on stage, on several occasions. Various things like school plays and things of that nature.

Have you ever given a speech?
