Socioeconomic inequality enrages the 95%, and to prevent this anger from turning against them, the wealthiest 5% support power-hungry populists who redirect it toward the nearest and weakest scapegoat — often foreigners first.
Agree with your point, but I would call them immigrants instead of foreigners.
Let’s see if foreign tourists get attacked as well.
If sheeple didn’t vote for the economic liberals or conservatives the wealthiest 5% wouldn’t make any difference. So the real problem is rather the 95% for voting these 5% so they can blame themselves only when there are better options.
Irelands parties aren’t split along right/left lines like other countries, due to historical reasons.
