    At least for me, the decreased muscle mass in 1.25 years hasn’t really made a functional difference as far as I can tell. But like, I’m not interested in lifting weights in the gym - I just want to be able to move the things I’ve been able to move. Also, as with all things HRT, YMMV. Some people notice muscle mass drops quite quickly.

      Lifting weights is exactly what I like doing, unfortunately. My bench press progress is kinda stagnating at the moment and it’s the most frustrating thing.

        It’s not like it becomes impossible to maintain or gain muscle on estrogen, you just need to put in more effort compared to people with higher testosterone levels.

        I know plenty of built girls who started HRT and haven’t really seen any decline in over a year. It’s harder to build, but doesn’t go away overnight by any means.
