Another unique combat operation — the first of its kind in the history of the Iron Brigade. One FPV drone destroyed a concrete bridge!

The structure had long been used by the Russian army to transfer equipment and personnel. Moreover, the bastards mined the bridge: probably afraid of a breakthrough by Ukrainian units.

The planted TM-62 anti-tank mines became a great gift for the strike drone battalion (BBD). The drone with explosives essentially acted as a detonator. The result — an epic scene!

That’s a standard thing. At least here in Finland every bridge they build includes a chamber for explosives so that explosives can be rigged if it looks like there might be a need to collapse the bridge soon. However, apparently Russian bridges don’t have those chambers, and they had to put the explosives on the outside instead.

They had tried building protections against drones, and apparently believed the explosives are far enough from anything Ukraine can hit with its own explosives.

Assuming that the explosives cannot go off accidentally or through enemy action, it’s just a good precaution to have them readied. But, this was done by the Russian military, and there nothing is done really properly. They can be dangerous, just like zombies in movies. But.

Til. Ever since that literal line of tanks they forgot to consider proper fuel logistics for (start of the war)I guess I’m just sorta primed to think that if Russia is doing a thing there is a reasonable chance it’s dumb and bad.

But also there’s a reasonable chance I, too, am dumb and bad. So there is that.
