This would be awesome, I could go around hitting people with clutch complements, and moral support and see their heath bar go up.

When it gets low enough, it starts beeping like the health bar from LoZ LttP and takes itself out the rest of the way

I used to have wristbands - green, yellow, and red - that I’d switch between. Lost the green and yellow ones around 2020 or so. If that isn’t a metaphor, I don’t know what is.

Till you want to apply for a job but your bar isn’t green enough.

Then have the wealthy class try to distinguish themselves by always having a full green bar while the politicians balance your means to make the majority just miserable enough to always be light orange.

Exactly. My first thought seeing this was that shitty people are going to gamify making people more miserable now that they can see exactly how well they’re doing.

Omg, you made a terrible idea terrifying. I think you nailed it in the head only they would keep at least 25% to 50% at the red limit just to incentivise the yellow bars.

If we want to talk about the current scales the greens would be holding us to a 60% red line rate. I’m not current but I’m guessing the average American living paycheck to paycheck is around 60% now.

I’ve seen Scott Pilgrim. It would just be another way to sell you energy drinks which promise to improve your health bar.

I feel like I have a Fallout style health bar, but instead of rad counters it’s old age counters. My max available HP drops over time, with the space being filled up with pain. Not to mention permanent debuffs like “arthritis,” and “bad knee.”

My smart watch kinda does this. It has a concept called body battery that tries to calculate the amount of rest you get vs the amount of energy you use.

That would stress me out, causing my health bar to go down, which would stress me out even more, causing my health bar to go down, which would…
