I call that genre of Democratic fan ‘vote blue even they kill you.’ Since yeah, that’s more or less what they’re saying in between getting mad about trans people existing as anything other than a hypothetical to debate. Show up and say their political darling of the minute isn’t perfect and out come the justifications and accusations.
