Fingernails are the same size no matter what. Long ass fingers would be kinda cool. But having another 8 arms in such close proximity would be annoying. Thumbs are the same size. Short ass arms though would mean the whole underside of your arm would technically be your arm pit.
Long fingers. With some ingenuity you could probably turn it into a kind of special ability, but tiny arms is always gonna be a reduction in ability
