The storyline focuses on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and the imminent end of the world. The tagline for the series is “The things that divide us are stronger than the things that unite us”. The plot explores the tension between the inevitability of the apocalypse and the persistent hope for a different future.
I read it and I really liked it. The ending isn’t everything I had hoped for but the world is great and well explored, the art is so weird yet so real, and the whole thing is long enough to feel full but not so long that it drags. It isn’t my favorite comic book of all time, but it is easily top 10. I hope you will enjoy it like I did.
