    I wasn’t a big fan of the Netflix attempt, and the more accurate Chinese series was a little bit better, but neither were groundbreaking. I actually think Apple’s Foundation is a good example of deviating from the source material and being entertaining on its own -this is not a popular opinion with the Asimov purists.

    That said Liu’s books don’t get really good until after the first IMO so I hope that Netflix can improve this next season.
