I realise you’re probably joking but I’ve always found this to be temporary. If you’re cycling regularly and the saddle pain lasts longer than a few weeks you should probably try a different saddle (I do only cycle about 60km a week so maybe not true if you’re doing much longer distances)
No, I’m not joking. I even used the numbing cream to avoid the pain. Tried three or four different saddles - all were bad. Now I’m a proud motorcyclist.
I second the vote for a recumbent. I switched to one in 2006 and never looked back. So comfy. You can go for a bike ride and have a lie down at the same time.
