    The amount of condescending comments I get on lemmy is too damn high. So much of “I know better than you girl” tone around here.

      It seems like really niche, heavily moderated online spaces are the only place safe from that sort of crock.

        Certain individuals are problematic I literally had a moderators come from certain a comm harass me in the comments assuming a whole lot.

    Honestly I’ve stopped being super involved in the fediverse not just because I have no time but also because I realized there’s so little space to just exist without dickbags.

    I got a lot better at not replying to them… only to realize that I was never replying to anything. So I took a break.
