Marvel Studios has confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again will not include or reference events from Thunderbolts*. This update came directly from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.
Gunn stated that the individual stories will be stand alone. Seems like you should be able to watch/play each entry without an issue even if they are part of a bigger continuity.
I don’t expect anyone to watch this 2 hour long YouTube video but hearing this reminds me of it. Basically the TL;DR is that when the movie Avatar came out they were saying similar things about how all the different video games based on the movie would all be canon but also standalone, and then it turned out that all of them were basically just the plot of the movie but with different characters swapped in. I suspect the MCU games will be the same.
