    True enough.

    …and it’s absolutely pointless to try.

    Um, no. Absolutely worthwhile to establish a reasonable non-destructive internet. Bad players will always find ways - they always have - but they can and should be relegated to the fringes where they have to work to have their voices heard, not be amplified by the biggest platforms in existence.

      And what happens when the wrong people get in power and use that regulation to their advantage to prevent their opposition from being heard?

      That’s how you end up with Fascism

      Maybe we should focus on educating the population to be aware of the danger so they don’t fall for it instead of just throwing pointless policy at it
