“Pro-life” unless it’s within specific prescribed guidelines dictated by religious zealots.

Otherwise fuck you we’re let that unborn baby die and then blame the mother for not being chaste enough.

Lmao I just read this headline out loud to my girlfriend and she just said “slut” menacing kind of like how an elderly woman would say it to someone way younger

Life doesn’t imply quality. They just want the human born no matter how good or bad or a situation.

The woman at the town hall explained that her representatives are not responsive to her questions, even as she repeatedly calls Sen. Marsha Blackburn. When she reached staff at Sen. Bill Hagerty’s office, they told her, “he’s not obligated to listen to his constituents.”

The entitlement on display, hopefully this makes it into the history books

Tennessee has the highest maternal mortality rate in the country and ranks among the worst for infant mortality.

    Good Lord people.

Georgia was much nicer in my experience than Alabama, but this was many years ago. They (GA) allowed midwifery which meant that I was able to get most prenatal care for a low risk pregnancy from someone who wasn’t just in a rush and overwhelmed. Vs Alabama with one provider for many many people who must be a “doctor” even if everything is going smoothly and they’re like hold on – don’t push doc isn’t here yet. Uh, mam that’s not how this works, and why do I need him anyway? Get here or don’t, IDC.

If we had any justice in this country, people like this would be told in no uncertain terms that their rules are for THEM, not for anyone else, especially those who are not in their little book club.

If I’m not in your little book club, I should never have to give one flying fuck that a doctor, a pharmacist, or anyone else agrees with my “lifestyle”, whatever the fuck that means. THEY are the ones that chose the lifestyle of being a petty little xtian.

Off topic: because of people calling xitter “shitter”, I’m now reading xtian “shittian”. And I’m ok with that.

This is sorta good. If your doctor feels that strongly about something like that, you don’t want them as a doctor. They probably believe all sorts of things that aren’t medically accepted.

And to think - right after the corrupted “supreme” court struck down 50 years of law, the ghouls on the right wing said I was being ridiculous when I spoke of Gilead States vs. free states.
