I found many neocons were Trotskyite in their youth.And neocons have passion in interventionist policy as Trotskyite in the world revolution.

    Some names would help here… I know Reagan was famously left-leaning in his younger years, as was Jeb Bush, but other than that I can’t think of any ex-Trot neocons.

      Tony Blair is another one. Honourable mention to Piers Corbyn (Jeremy Corbyn’s brother) who is a Trot and climate denier.

        Also co-founded the project for a new american century, which is significant enough imo that it can’t be brushed off, though the really dogmatic, religious trotskyists will try to.
