Idk I went to a public HS and we had a good coverage of the gilded age. Reflecting on that as I got older is a big part of why I moved away from thinking capitalism is good.
When you do it it’s tyranny…when we do its democracy manifesting freedoms. You see the difference? Your soldiers had kings, our soldiers have burger king, it’s eloquently simple when you think about it.
