Before the heatwave hit, I made a bunch of really cool looking wycinanki (symmetrical paper cut out) flowers and then mixed a bunch of pigments up to paint each layer as I only had white card and none of my existing hundred or so tubes of paint were the right colour.

I came up with an interesting method too of using masking tape to cover and basically square off the back of each flower shape, so I could paint the other side without them sticking to my desk. I still need to run a scalpel around the edges to clean up some excess paint that didn’t come off with the tape though, but that can wait till I’ve recovered from my flat being 45c yesterday.
