Sure, but I think it undermines democrats who have been willing to go to bat for Mamdani like Jerry Nadler and Chris Van Hollen.
I’d like to see as much praise for these people as we see condemnation of people like Gillibrand.

I don’t think many are finding this meme to mean there aren’t Democrats that toil against the majority of the party. I find the constant purity testing of memes and critique of the Democratic party serves much more to shield the part that shouldn’t be shielded from critique. Oh no, this critique isn’t 99% accurate! There is an AIPAC angle to Dem funding (ALL funding, to be clear) which is not great in this specific context.

Setting off a smoke bomb in the conference room, throwing a pie at Perjury Traitor Greed, tying Mike Johnson’s shoes together, paid advertisements, a WARPED Tour with free t-shirt swag; shit it feels like they’re content to get quoted in the NYT and tour the Sunday morning circuit and that’s it for the PR.
No one’s confused that the Democrats are shit at messaging; the few times they broke out (remember the first two weeks of Kamala’s campaign?) they get shushed by fogeys and idiot consultants.
