I’d like to hopefully be remembered as someone who tried to make a difference in this shitty world.
Besides that I’d also hopefully live peacefully and quietly, I’ve already seen just how fame can both corrupt and destroy celebrities and their lives.
To me fame seems more like a poisoned pill more than a double edged sword.
I like the quote by Florence Foster Jenkins
There are those who say that I cannot sing. Nobody will ever say that I did not sing.
That’s fantastic.
I am content to live unremarkably
I would much rather be the “obnoxious feminist girl” than be complicit in my own dehumanization.
Edit: the quote bars don’t come across well in the app I use unless I add some unquoted text. I didn’t come up with this, it’s from Kathleen Hanna of feminist punk band Bikini Kill.
Same!!!
I love that! I long to be called a feminazi there’s no bigger compliment
Well behaved women seldom make history.
- Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, 1976
I once got called a one woman army. If I was remembered as that I’d die happy!
