When you cut the top part off was it fine? I had something similar happen when I put a bit to much in. Was supposed to be 3 1/4 max in mine and I used a 3 3/4 cup recipe. Everything that fit the pan looked find after I took the top off
I panicked when I saw it touching the glass and bailed on the bake. I forgot the salt which I’ve read helps limit the rise so I assume that was the problem.
