      No, but a million pictures is a different story. Memes have always been important for strong communities and movements. And not everybody is an artist, reducing the barrier to create content does help.

        Justify wasting stupid amounts of electricity to yourself all you like, but crudely drawn memes by unskilled artists are more heartfelt and effective that this low effort nonsense.

          I really wish that were true, but the actual hard facts show that AI content is effective. Just look at upvote counts to see the reach.

          Winning matters a lot more than inference time energy.
