Feel that. I burned out on writing bullshit software a long time ago. Now I make niche open source tools for Linux / *BSD with no commercial value; it’s the only way I can enjoy doing it. Watching my biggest field of interest become flooded with technofascists, scammers, frauds, etc. has really soured it. I hate all the types of people you find in the industry, but now they all get to be replaced with vibe coders and gen-ai prompt inputters. “Creative” jobs are probably the most depressing things you can do.

Honestly, I am willing to turn into vibe coding. What is the point of investing a lot of effort for improving code, learning and studying a lot of stuff, but then the higher ups just want a shit ton of additional features as fast as possible? Best to dedicate actual effort into things that really matter.
