Netanyahu claims Israel holds control of the Iranian airspace and is well underway to their goal of destroying nuclear facilities and missile launchers

Now, this seems like a bold claim but then again it would be weird to claim such a thing if it is not remotely true. Makes me wonder what the plan is, if that’s the case.

There are probably like half a dozen layers of yes men in between bibi and the front line each one is twisting the report of the lower level to sound better than it is. To every layer of command, the supremacy ideology holds more weight than reports of bad news from subordinates. There is also a time delay where worse the news takes longer to relay.

Bibi is probably unaware that Iran’s Air defence was back up after a few hours. Every report of damage to israel is probably paired with over inflated or outright fabricated stories of damage to Iran as a coping mechanism.

Don’t forget war is also politics. Bibi fled Israel before Israel’s attack, and the entire existence of Bibi’s position currently depends on endless war. Bibi also wants to draw other superpowers like the US, France, Germany and the UK into the war. Any news that Israel is actually losing the war may backfire politically as it can lead to an insurrection on Israel against him or other superpowers faltering as they won’t want to enter a losing war, especially because they also need to convince their people to back them. War is very costly, so they want to balance the economic cost with political support.
