Ah, but including Palestine means recognizing it as a sovereign nation. I believe Trump views Palestine as a region in rebellion against Israel.

Which is really weird when you realize they helped elect him.

More specifically all the American people who refused to vote for Harris because she wasn’t pro-Palestine enough for them did.

Sure, it was an absolutely stupid take as Trump is far, far worse for everyone, but there you go.

        Palestine isn’t a country

Because the US keeps vetoing any UN recognition. It’s considered a sovereign state in most of the world.

What is a country to you?

Palestine,[i] officially the State of Palestine,[ii][g] is a country in West Asia. Recognized by 147 of the UN’s 193 member states, it encompasses the Israeli-occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, collectively known as the occupied Palestinian territories, within the broader geographic and historical Palestine region.

            Per Wikipedia. Emphasis mine.

ETA: the word “country”, again, per Wikipedia

A country is a distinct part of the world, such as a state, nation, or other political entity. When referring to a specific polity, the term “country” may refer to a sovereign state, state with limited recognition, constituent country, or dependent territory.
