There were other production relations within feudalist societies but this is the defining one. What you are witnessing is a transitionary period between capitalism and fascism. America is capitalist in that the primary production relation that shapes its political superstructure is between a ruling class of capitalist who own the means of production (businesses) and the proletariat who must sell their labor to the capitalist in order to survive for they do not have the means to produce or the capital to acquire it. Referring to the US as neo-feudal is nonsensical as that production relation does not exist anymore and couldn’t compete with capitalism if it did.
