    Yes, you can. Almost every country has a path to a visa/citizenship somehow. Work visa, student visa, investment visa, expat visa, green card, etc. etc. etc.

    It takes some effort, but less effort than trying to install a dictatorship in your own country would I suspect.

      Well. That’s my point the original comment made it sound like they should pack up and leave. Not quite that simple.

        If they care so much about how another country works that they want to replicate that where they live, their options are to campaign and make those changes in their country through a lot of political activism and a lot more luck; or move to the country they admire which just requires some paperwork.

        One of those options feels harder than the other.
