Oh shit, my favorite TOS ep gets the annotation it deserves. AMOK TIME: The Director’s Edition! I can’t get over the costumes, the perfect casting, the script, the props. Dayum. The hair was so carefully crafted. Even goober’s Dwight Schrute combover.
Also very fond of the abacus jingle bells.
It’s my favorite kind of episode. Minimal special effect; everything is acting and direction.
