It would be different if we hadn’t had so much in the news about the abuses of the Catholic priests over the years. Even someone supposedly detached from his sensuality should understand the optics of such a move to others, and should practice extra caution around children. Edit: but, we also can’t see in his heart, so it’s not on us to condemn him, karma will handle that.
