Seeing the latest news about Filelist made me once again excited to join a private tracker. I have been wanting this for some time, but unfortunately didn’t meet the right people yet who are already inside.
So this is my humble request to anyone who’d like to give me an invitation. I’ve got a personal NAS, and it’s waiting to get shared.
As a total noob I have to ask… what are the advantages of a private tracker? And does that mean I need to have a super seed upload volume in GBs?
For me, a private tracker allows for API integration with Radarr/Sonarr/Readarr
Plus, it’s less likely I get takedown requests on my seed box.
You don’t need upload in GBs - lots of private trackers will use time uploading as an indicator too
better quality content from consistent a consistent user base. less attention from the outside world.
