Im a bit new to the Lemmyverse. Does not posting through lemmygrad mean I need to create an account in their instance or a federated instance?

I literally discussed this yesterday with a friend after watching a wallstreetbets post. I mean I know everything about it and still it makes me completely forget reality when I see people just gambling half a million away without even thinking about it. I can’t afford a new computer while working full time since years. We certainly do not live in the same reality as these people.
