Flappy pants wind bracing
Haha I love the name, but it’d be really annoying having to explain the spelling each time. Will have to suss the tune out later
This has just made me wonder what the distance around the coastline of this land mass is and how long it would take to travel it via various means.
I hear they permanently implanted a contact mic in her nuckles so the audience can feel like they are the sternum itself.
I’m a daily rider/commuter by motorcycle and I’d love to get an electric bike. I don’t think I’d miss shifting gears at all, but (and I’ve been thinking about this) I think I’d like to have some kind of electric “clutch” that doesn’t work at all like a regular clutch but performs a similar function. In this case it would adjust the throttle map. Clutch full in = throttle does nothing. Clutch full out = aggressive or linear throttle map. I have not actually ridden any of the high end e-motos to know if this is necessary, but in my mind I would miss the ability to feather the clutch.
I really love their Exquisite Corpse EP, but they’re an awesome band all round. Such great layers of melody and rhythm. One of my favourite drummers - saw them recently and Stella was awesome to watch (although I thought the sound mix for them was pretty bad, which was disappointing, but other people thought they sounded great, so dunno~)
‘Please touch on your Myki before and after using the recycling machine’…
…“Ffffffffffffffuuuuu-”
Fingers crossed they didn’t roll out their own solution is what I’m trying to say.
Hell yes! Swedish emo getting a spin. An exchange student put me onto these guys and this album is actually pretty solid. I liked “Run, run, run”
(Australian here) The Living End with End of Fashion at an all ages gig at the Metro in Perth.
I first listened to this album real late at night while finishing uni assignments. (I was going thru a list of highly recommended albums at the time.) Well, essentially as soon as Teenage Riot started and the guitar tones filled my ears I stopped working and just sat there. Listened to the whole album and didn’t do any further work that night - I definitely succumbed to the Daydream Nation. Still an all time top 3 for me and Eric’s Trip is a personal favourite track.
Oh man, do! Transatlanticism is an album 100% worth a spin
Generally I try to have a creative, hands-on project on the go. Lately that’s been rebuilding a guitar, but it could be designing something on the computer.
Otherwise; playing guitar, gardening, practice putting (disc golf). So I guess hobbies.
Songkick? I’ve been using it for a few years and it works reasonably well. I believe you can connect it to Spotify too. The only negative is it’s usually 3-5 days behind the announcement of shows. Following the artist directly is still the best bet to guarantee you hear it straight away. But that’s only a problem if the show/artist is super popular and sells out fast.
This was the info I was interested in.
Finely ground (espresso) coffee grounds were dried in the sun and then sifted. Then mixed with binders (xanthan gum and carboxymethyl cellulose powders) and water. These are printed in a modified consumer grade fdm 3d printer using a syringe instead of the hot end. The resulting material is claimed to be as strong as unreinforced concrete, but is biodegradable.
Really like this song, but (side rant) wish youtube would realise I also really like all their other songs. It over-plays this track like it’s a top of the pops radio hit. Kissing Families is an older track of theirs with a very similar vibe, though I think I like it a little more nowadays. Love the screaming vocals followed by the mellow cello
That’s awesome! Congrats on qualifying and good luck this weekend!
I’ve got a disc golf comp on Sunday. Teams match play format, so a bit different to usual and should be fun.
Another question. At your level in axe throwing, is it largely mental game that decides the winner, or other factors?
That sounds like an awesome weekend! Will you be competing against the big guns? Are there amateur/novice divisions, or is it all or nothing?
My s10e is still going okay and is just small enough to use one handed. Sad that companies are moving away from the small, powerful phones
I’d say it’s used semi frequently in skate photography. Typically a close shot with a wide lens. The tilt might be to realign the viewer with the skaters body position and show the extreme angle of the trick.
