  • if there was data it is not published. so i can not show you data that does not exist.
you have not shown that inequality is the cause of your low wages. or any low wages.
you have not shown that unions improve the economy by lowering the interest rare or reducing inflation. you have not shown that unions reduce the cost of building a house or reduce the cost of anything. you have not shown that union members have a better life over non union members.
you have not shown that more union members own their house over non union members.
and there has never been enough union members (over 33%) to to give any generation a better life then any other generation.

but i can show you that a very limited number of union member can and have damaged canadas economy. https://globalnews.ca/news/10897226/canada-post-strike-small-businesses-impact-cfib/

i can show you that a union has caused serious damage to a massive corporation
    https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canada-post-748-million-loss-2023-1.7193944

i can also show that the union STILL want more wages, more staff , more benefits from a company that lost over 1 billions dollars and really should have gone bankrupt with every union member losing their job and benefits.

i can also show that a union wants the government to bail out a massive bankrupt corporation to save their jobs , much the way governments bailed out banks and car manufactures in the past. ( except there is zero chance the money will ever be paid back and in fact it will have to be bailed out every year)

governments bailing out the rich and those with huge wages and benefits is not something anyone should support.

  • are first nations looking after their own children today or do that still allow and encourage another government to run the foster child system for their children?

i cannot call it genocide when it is still happening today and not one first nation is making effort to run a foster child system it self. not one first nation is using its own money to look after its own children. i have not even heard of one first nation building it own school with community money and not federal money.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sixties_Scoop
(that is a lot different then the “canadian Encyclopedia”)

if you can find one first nation that uses any money from its citizens to look after its people ( that is called taxes and services run solely by the first nation) i would to love hear about it. even one. ( i would promote that like you would not believe)

so how do you call it genocide when its approved of today??

  • attacking civilians is bad… however. every israeli citizen is a member of the IDF and is required to undergo training and to be ready to be called up for war at any time.
so while attacking civilians is bad, there is a huge difference when you kill women, children, or protesters with rocks vs attacking well trained people off duty.
i am sure there are some PSYCHOs in hamas, there are PSYCHOs in every army. go out and read the history.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_return_to_Israel

Yitzhak Pundak, commander of the 6th brigade, later testified
One day I was summoned to the central front. In the bureau of Maj. Gen. Zvi Ayalon, and in the presence of intelligence officer Binyamin Jibli, I was ordered to liquidate every infiltrator encountered by our forces, and as deterrence to leave the body in the field, to make an example of it. . When I asked why there was no order in writing, the general and the intelligence officer emphasized that they were speaking in the name of the chief of staff. Gradually the trails filled up with bloated bodies. … The stench that spread through the area reached our outposts and soldiers started to suffer from headaches, dizziness, nausea and breathing difficulties

btw “infiltrator” is the word used for any man woman or child trying to go home

  • the problem with your explanation is that it does not take into account disposable income and how it was spent in 1960 vs today.
no matter how much money is in the hands of the 1% in the 99% waste what they do have. no matter how much money the union gets it members is meaningless if the % cost of union dues have gone up, if people waste 60% of their disposable income on say “doordash” and not saving it for a house or paying for a house.

and yes i am mad that a generation that is willing to pay 10$ for delivery is crying becasue they cannot afford anything. the same generation that is having a lease on a $75000 car for 3 years, and they getting a new one. ( more money just GONE). or that unions have made higher education completely unaffordable for just about anyone. ( another place where you can have a job for life even if you do nothing all day) yes i am also mad that people “invest” $10000 into wall street and expect $15000 back in a year.
( once again for NOTHING, zero effort, zero involvement) which is an insane idea. but our whole system is built on people getting something for nothing. “Money makes Money” is a lie. effort makes money, invention makes money. but banks have a whole other plan. much like unions.

i will say again unions demand that wages must go up unrealistically, which causes inflation. unions demand that they get to decide the workload of members, which devalues the $/hour paid ( which just devalues the dollar).

and when unions get too much power they can and will damage the entire economy of a nation. and that should not be allowed.

personally i would to see this bill and bill c58 that made it illegal to replace union strikers with scabs both throw out… but that will not happen.

there MUST be a counter to the unions… THAT used to be employers could just hire someone else, but that is now illegal in canada. other then this bill what is left to control the power of the unions?
