@brisbane It’s supposed to be winter!! (Or at least, was just yesterday.) Darn weather was up over 30 degrees.
Run’s 24.1 km total, took about 2:10 of running time, plus a fair few pauses to make sure I was still on track.

@ada wow that’s stunning! Way better than any of the shots I got.
@Zagorath I had to Google that, but yeah it does.
@SubArcticTundra ha! Yeah that’s a common refrain when non-Brisbaners (especially Americans) see photos of Riverfire. They’re not actually flying anywhere near that close to buildings—they go over the river.
@Gamers_Mate @Rentlar no don’t delete it! It’s an important issue and more people should be able to see it!
@Spitzspot yeah I dunno why exactly the Pitch Drop experiment gets the label “longest continually-running experiment”. Probably some kind of technicality about what exactly counts as “experiment” and “continually-running”. There are some even older than Beal’s listed on Wikipedia, depending on how you define it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long-term_experiment

@brisbot much better this morning. Woke up early and managed to get myself outside for a quick half River Loop ride. Always feel good after doing morning exercise, as hard as it is to get up to actually do it.
@brisbot Urgh mornings suck. Usually I blame it on my tendency to go to bed late, but last night I was in bed early and set an alarm early to get up for some exercise. Morning arrives and I immediately re-set my alarm and go back to sleep until I have to be up for work.
@brisbot how exactly does Mastodon–Lemmy interaction work? This is a comment reply because I searched for it, but is there an equivalent to subscribing to a Lemmy community? A way to post in a community?
@No1 @Rivalarrival yes, please. Always remove the si tracking bs.
