Sounds very handy!

Take the train instead!
I beg to differ. But one axis is definitely better than zero axes.
MDF bends easily and will keep its saggy shape. Would not use it for the horizontal planks.
Nice stroke!
Frame (what the window manager calls Window)>Window>Buffer. These are probably concepts that come from a text based terminal age.
You don’t usually split buffers, maybe windows?
Love that series!
Nice technique. I have previously only seen it with laser cut wood, why not for 3d printing?!
Nice technique I had never heard of!
One of my first movies and I’ll never forget that adventure. I have no question though.
That’s the spirit. If I wore glasses I’d definitely give them a try. Unfortunately many other 3d printed projects are half baked. This one seems to have some serious work in it.
Thanks for your regular posts. I like how dedicated you are! Contrary to some other posters, I like the look actually. Of course it would be nice to see them on a real face. Maybe you could gimp them onto an AI generated face.
Yes, we had a guided tour for a work related event hosted by Meise.
What brand do you use? Where do you buy? On what continent are you sitting?
It’s a good idea but I’m sceptical about anything friction to hold the darts. The problem is that they have very sharp machined rings that make them very non-slippery to the fingers. I’m pretty sure those rings would file off anything they slide against very quickly.
The steel tip does not have this problem though, so adding some part that pushes against the tip might be the solution. Alternatively, i could also make the part that houses the flights be somehow spring loaded and squeeze them.
Man, I love PHA, at least the idea of it. I have an unopened roll of it lying around because I’m afraid to waste it. I’ll give it a go on my next print. It’s unfortunate that it’s still hard to find and a bit expensive. All hail PHA!
Yeah, I think I see what you mean. I’m very plastic conservative so I hope I can go without printing a second one, therefore the clip idea. Also the clip is a bit more practical better looking.
Very nice! I’ll try not to forget next time I liberate a mabaul.
