Yeah, this time it feels like there are more and more voices out there fighting back. It’s quite heartening. Thanks for that, vid, too, I’ll make sure to follow her work.

Great stuff, thanks. Some things really never change, like numbers being thrown out willy nilly. Also wanna say that I’m happy to see these kinda posts. The mini effortposting is back.

Now this is an excellent resource and not the ramblings of some dude online acting like he knows what he’s talking about (talking about me). Gracias, hermano, venceremos!

Yep, exactly.

That’s big praise, thanks, comrade. Now I’m obligated to go over this more seriously and add more examples throughout the text. So I’ll get back to work on it and mark the new edits with something.

Camarada, hermana de mi alma, if you and me were in charge of the secret police and gulags, we’d be on the Black Book of Communism.

This comment is mainly a joke. While the federation issue and comments are real, I’m just dramatising for fun.
I love it, it felt like reading a serious report.

Now imagine that same discourse, while playing telephone, make it ‘‘en Español’’, and you have Puerto Rico.

The US is a mafia state. I know a lot of you have considered this before, but when you look at every action the US takes, it parallels what organized crime does. From the DEA being the world’s largest cartel, the extrajudicial killings of fishermen in the Caribbean, to the CIA selling crack to our black and brown communities, and putting bounties on people who don’t obey them. isn’treal, too, to turn Gaza into a ‘‘Miami of West Asia’’, wiping off entire communities for condo projects. And speaking of that soulless hellscape, Miami, where do all our gusano terrorists end up? In fucking Florida. They not only protect pieces of shit, they encourage them.
Even US citizens are held hostage by this system. From the moment you’re born, the hospitals and healthcare companies take a cut, and put your parents into debt. When you go to school you gotta pay for lunch and books. When you want a house, you gotta take a mortgage, if you want a car, that’s another long term payment. And workers, which means most of us, are its primary victims. They tie your healthcare to your job, even your social security isn’t secure. If you even consider rebelling, they fire you, you lose your ‘‘benefits’’, healthcare and miss payments. ‘‘If you don’t pay, you don’t play’’. Everything is designed to milk you for every penny you’ve got. Even when you die it ain’t free, your family’s gonna have to pay for your burial.
And this is without getting into everything else the US does around the world, from funding paramilitaries, dictatorships, coups, stealing shit with 0’s on a screen with their exorbitant privilege and getting away with a free lunch, like Michael Hudson often says. And if the world rebels? They’ve got nukes, their military at our doorsteps, and their agents of empire working within our countries through NGO’s or the state. The US blackmails its own people and the world into playing their game through threats of violence, withholding funds, putting bounties, sanctions, and murdering anyone, anywhere, that gets in their way. It’s a rogue state against any notion of international law, which is why they want an ‘‘international rules order’’ instead. Rules for thee, but not for me.
And I didn’t even get into the internal politics of the US, with lobbying being legal, and people tied to all kinds of criminal activity.

With the news of r/TheDeprogram’s demise I went to
and saw that r/GenZedong is still alive, and I found the legendary Xi Bazooka pic from WION.

I only know him from Soberanía podcast with José Luis Granados Ceja, and so far they’re cool.

Sweet, thanks, I bookmarked that site.
Yeah, there’s a whole gamut of online diversions, sometimes it feels like you’re playing a platformer avoiding all the traps and spikes. But in truth, they’re more like snares and shadow plays to get you caught up in a Plato’s cave, fighting with strawmen, and not advancing towards Marxism-Leninism. If you’re not here, ideologically, you’ve been ensnared, and your energy is being diverted into meaningless chatter. That’s why what you mentioned earlier is important, that we need more rigorous Marxist critics. I guess that’s what Tricontinental, the IMG, CTW, and other great orgs and channels do.
There’s a realization spreading now in the Global South that we need our own tech, and not to rely on Western, mainly US, tech. I bring this up, cause sometimes either we overestimate online activity or we underestimate it, thinking that real, on the ground organizing is most important. It is at the end of the day, but we spend time simultaneously in both spaces. So we go back to your call, and I wanted to tie that with the pursuit of sovereign tech, because as we’ve seen with Venezuela, the right has total control of online space. Chavismo has always had a presence online but because the US has Meta and Twitter, they’re minimized, shadow banned, etc. So we need our own tools to quell theirs. This can only be done under revolution, like China did. We have to build platforms independent from US meddling. It is a matter of national security in the world today, specially for our AES comrades.

I haven’t read those, and thankfully don’t know about the Hegelian e-girls, Hahaha. I agree, that there’s a lot of pseudo-theory out there because of bourgeois academia where like Gabriel often says, it’s like every academic has a product to sell; the new, hip theory that’s dressed up as ‘‘radical’’ but upholds the status quo.
Thanks for the book recs, I’ll write those titles down and look for 'em.

Yeah, I love Critical Theory Workshop, too.

Hahaha, there was another one recently about Western Marxism from Losurdo, but I didn’t post it, it was from the International Manifesto Group and Friends of Socialist China. It should be on Friends of Socialist China’s YT for any comrades interested.

Thanks for posting this great article, man. I always appreciate people learning about Venezuela.
