@[email protected] Yeah, I remember very well growing up (and into my early adulthood) being able to pick up far away AM stations when the conditions were right. It was fun back then to see what you’d find!

@nm @dafne @vegan We are obviously seen as a “target market” by some companies. Not any different in my mind from the “rainbow capitalists” who market to LGBTQIA+ folks on the assumption that we all have a ton of disposable income (hah!).

@renwillis @fediverse Pretty spot on critique of Threads. I signed up with it last night and found some people I follow on IG, but otherwise it’s like being dropped in the middle of a big city where you don’t know anyone.
