I’m more than intrigued by the scent description in the aftershave!

one of our cats yelled at me for the entire shave
Obviously; there often seems to be a competition between spouse and cat (probably because it rhymes with mouse)
Wednesday, October 16, 2024: Buena Vista Wetshaving Social Club No 3
This must be my 30th-ish shave with Narcisse, so my impressions are not the freshest. I must say that I had never once considered that the name could be the flower; I always assumed it has to be the Greek mythical character. Anyways, this is one of the soaps whose scent I like most in my den, even though the base is not as easy-going as the U.S. artisans. All in all, I’m happy to have bought it, and I’m also happy that you seem to appreciate it. And sending out soap for the BVWSC is a good way to accelerate a kill, and justifying buying other soaps!
Have a good evening!
Happy that you like it 🍻
You could ask Claude, and see what happens. Often, it gets you 90% of the way.
I smell an AA challenge - or is this the scent of moist dog?
Tuesday, October 15, 2024: Burned by Old Strathcona?
I am getting careless: I believe that my very dry skin was in part caused by frag-burn coming from Old Strathcona (as much as I like it, the oakmoss is probably not for me). In related news, Marmara Barber also burned the hell out of my face – though that may be simply the fact that it’s almost pure alcohol. I will probably leave OS for some time, and then confirm whether I get a reaction from it.
Last minute instructions for the BVWSC shave tomorrow: Narcisse is rather middle of the road what concerns quantity of soap needed and quantity of water you should add – do as you would do normally. However, LPL soaps often take more work lathering than the soaps you are probably accustomed to. If it seems to be a bubbly mess, just carry on carrying on lathering – everything will be alright in the end.
Have a good day!
real-life Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Let’s settle for a draw, then.
I’ve seen Johann from S&B have good things to say about Noir - maybe I should test this once as well
Then keep a portion for November 20th!
It’s the Buena Vista Wetshaving Social Club shave - on the 3rd Wedesday of the mrnth, we shave with a soap we voted for together.

Good shave.
Have a good night!
@[email protected], @[email protected], @[email protected], @[email protected], @[email protected], @[email protected], @[email protected] – everything’s set for Wednesday’s BVWSC shave?
Same here, though I’m not sure that Shub-Niggurath would make for a good etching. If you want a mother goddess, maybe the sign of Tanit?
that makes it sound like we’re some secret society cult lodge that tries to summon the ancient wetshaving gods
With a big picture of a masonic razor, the branding is complete!
My bad - this is obviously the correct answer

Often our worst ideas turn out to be great, so don’t be shy.
You asked for it! What about:
I rest my case.
Seconding the seconding (not sure whether this is thirding or fourthing, though)
They have both donkeys and horses, and they produce shaving soaps based on both (at first glance, I also assumed that everything was based on donkey milk, thus my question )
Friday, October 18, 2024: Ash on Friday
An Omega of death has formed in my soap. I’m not that confident anymore that I will finish this soap in 2024, but the end is close.
Have a good day!
