Absolutely fair enough, I’m just a somewhat ignorant Welsh man!
They have only ever been described here as American/Native American.
Though now that you mention this, Cowboys & Indians suddenly makes a lot more sense to me.

Are there actually Amish people in India?
I can’t tell if this is real or not.
Took me longer than I care to admit before I realised this was the Onion.
Well shit.
In that case, keep posting!
Well written.
I fear there are many on Lemmy that don’t truly grasp the gravity of the current geopolitical climate, and despite you laying it out here with ease, people will disagree with your assessment.
Keep writing like this, we need as many doses of reality as we can muster in amongst the genocide apologists and arm chair experts.
Five years ago, if you had asked me if Israel would be committing terrorist attacks across Palestine, Lebanon and beyond, I would have said absolutely not.
I would have been wrong, even back then, but jesus fucking christ, what an absolute shambles.
How my government supports this state-sponsored terrorism is beyond me.
Quit smoking a few years back, that was an absolute bitch to do.
Still get the feeling every now and then, only ‘relapsed’ once at a funeral.
The amount of people I hear saying “Nitch” instead of “Neesh” when pronouncing it, blows my mind.
No idea where ‘Nitch’ came from, but it has never been pronounced that way.
Welcome!
I also moved over from Reddit, some time ago now, Lemmy is great if you don’t mind it being quieter and you’re not into super niche things.
If you are into super niche things, definitely make those communities and begin fostering growth by posting, it’s what I’m doing for my home country of Wales, slow but steady and all that.
Hope you enjoy Lemmy!
Would be real neat if the carrot stopped murdering children though.
Great work as always, will make sure to be concise as possible in the future with mod log reasonings, should I need to!
Cheers lemm.ee team.
Can’t help but feel for the developers here. I get that Bethesda has no responsibility to keep 3rd party Devs updated, but surely someone on the team would have noticed the potential for community engagement and worked with those putting the time and effort into the IP.
Here’s the important part.
Certified transcripts of each day’s proceedings will be posted to the New York State Unified Court System’s press website by the end of the following business day, according to a Monday press release. Transcripts can be expensive and sometimes unavailable, depending on the location or particular court system.
Appreciate you taking the time, I’ve got some research to do!
Hey what are all of the logos there? I know almost all of them but I’m unsure on a few.
Tell me your healthcare system is broken without telling me your healthcare system is broken.
I can’t argue with your logic here, and neither can I fault your conclusion. All that being the case, though, what can US voters do in this case?
Not vote? Vote 3rd party? Do you guys even have more than 2 parties over there? Seems like you have even more of a duopoly than we do over here in the UK.
I’ll be real, that situation seems pretty fucked, but I have no idea about US politics really, I’m from Wales.
That being said, our main political parties are essentially in this same state by the looks of things.
I imagine we all have different use cases, my idea of Lemmy succeeding may not be your idea.
That being said, as a replacement for Reddit, where I can scroll through the top say 50 posts once or twice a day, it absolutely fits the bill.
Engagement is much better for me here, I imagine due to the smaller size of the community, that lends itself to their being much less useless garbage comments and much more constructive or informative discussion.
The above being said, I do wish there were more people here.
